What is the difference between PTD and YTD as part of the profit and?
IME, I have seen PTD reported typically as quarterly, or some other systematic approach if the company is on a fiscal schedule and not the calendar. So, in short, period can be quarterly, 4 week periods in a 13 period schedule, etc etc, but YTD is still the year to date and therefor follows the companies annual calendar.
