What is it like to go skydiving in Dubai?
One word : Excellent. From the top :I skydived with Skydive Dubai above the Palms islands. My jump was at 7:30 AM in the morning. I reached the centre at 6:30. I was given 2 forms of 3 pages each to fill and had to put my signatures at hundred places. Yes, in case something goes wrong while jump, these signatures come handy. :PAfter completing all the formalities, I was told to wait. Normally, a jump happens with a group of 6. Two trainers personally accompany a single person, one trainer to dive with the participant, and other to click photos and videos of jump. What happens in a scenario if the trainer was not able to capture photos or videos? Well you get a free jump. One of my friend got lucky and jumped twice as the trainer was not able to capture his video due to some technical issue. Oh wait. it’s my turn now. The board shows my name :DI was excited. I am not scared of heights. That is what I kept telling myself to stay calm before jumping off a plane from 13000 feet. After my group of 6 was decided, I met my instructor. He gave me some tips on how to keep my body and legs positioned while jumping off the plane. I practiced that multiple times because I wanted myself to land alive. Just before getting into the plane :Just before the jump, they make a video of you to capture all your thoughts, excitement, nervousness. I chatted with the instructor who made me feel calm. Then came the moment. 18 of us, 6 participants with 2 instructors for each moved inside the plane. The plane took off with it’s door open :P. We gradually ascended and I was shit scared. The instructor took out his goPro and shot a video inside the plane just before the jump asking me about my experience at 13000 feet above the ground seconds before the jump. I kept quiet. Just before jumping off the plane:And finally, it happened :D The first 10–15 seconds is free fall. You fall down at acceleration due to gravity with the air gushing down your face. The heart thumps heavily and you gradually start enjoying it. Then the instructor finally opens the parachute and you see the real beauty of Dubai. You see the beautiful Palm, the gigantic Burj Khalifa, the stunning 7 star Burj Al Arab and you wish you could freeze that moment. Meanwhile, the second instructor captures that moment beautifully while he also jumps with you. It was an experience to remember !If you ever visit Dubai, don’t miss out SkyDive ! You probably do it once in a lifetime and it stays with you forever.
For how much can a fast SAT solver be sold?
It would be hard to sell a SAT solver, especially since there are a fair number of fast solvers available under open source licenses. Some, like MiniSat, are not just fast but small and simple which makes them easier to customize or integrate into a particular system or workflow. In practice, MiniSat seems to be fast enough for most people and most applications. The fact that it's short, sweet and available under an MIT license just seals the deal.In other words: it's a really competitive market and it's not obvious you'd be able to sell it for anything at all! That said, I certainly know of commercial SMT solvers. Of course, SMT solvers are significantly more capable—and more complex—than SAT solvers. Moreover, SMT solvers are differentiated not only by speed but by features, which makes it easier to stand out.Z3 is basically the best overall SMT solver. It's available free for non-commercial uses, and you can also buy it for about $10k on the Microsoft Store. Perhaps that gives you a good anchor point. (It's also possible that they just filled out 9999 because that was the biggest number the form accepted or something... Who knows :P.)(I've always thought the fact that it's listed on a consumer oriented online store is completely hilarious. Free shipping!)
Aren't some Indian startups following bad practices like ola offering free rides how do they fill the losses?
All the IOT Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Foodpanda are running into heavy losses. None of them are profitable. They are playing the game on VC's Money. But they are playing smart to change the way people do things. They are changing customer behavior. They are feeding us with freebies now so that they can earn in the longer run. They are making you habitual to use their services by offering free rides, coupons, discounts so that you stop buying offline, taking auto's and cabs (other than ola, Uber etc). One day will come when you will be habitual to spend money to get those services. It's kind of addiction that they are planting now and would reap the fruits later on.Even with me i started using Ola, Uber when there were free rides but now i got habitual and is ready to pay them for a ride instead of going from bus. So they have changed my behaviour in a way. They have got Big Money from VC's which they are using to change your behavior and later on they will have the benefits. VC's have invested looking to those future benefits. That's how it goes.UPDATE :-_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _Thanks a lot all of you for upvoting my answer so much. How profitable is options trading? How much of a hassle is it? Can one make good profits with just 1 hour of trading per day?
I started off investing in stocks. Then, before I could realize, I was trading stocks. I traded stocks for many years. I avoided options. They always sounded very expensive to me. Option premiums are generally so rich I couldn't justify putting money on long option positions. Initially, I played options by buying a few times but overall I lost money in options long positions. "Unlimited profit at limited risk of loss" is a true statement but you need to consider the odds for both scenarios. Most option prices decay too fast and they are more likely to expire worthless than to give you "unlimited" profit! For last 2-3 years, since I saw weekly options, I combined my stock trading with shorting/selling options and I think it has worked out very well. Few important points: 1) Remember the key difference: most common people get lured by the "unlimited profit potential against limited loss/risk" with BUYING options, I play on the other side. I short/sell options to open my positions. I take unlimited risk or loss potential against limited profit potential! 2) I just do not trade options for the sake of trading options. First I take a view on a stock or the market. If I think a stock is about to form a bottom, I sell put options. If I think a stock is about to form a top, I sell call options. I collect the premium. Many times, the options expire and I keep the money :) Sometimes the buyers exercise them and I end up with a long or short position in the stock which is fine with me as I already had a bullish or bearish view on that security. I rarely close my short positions! They expire worth less or end up in a long or short position for me.3) I trade only weekly options! It is a Monday to Friday game and for me the premiums are too attractive.  How profitable is options trading? I am too busy to run numbers or do analysis on my positions ,) However, around 2 years back, I decided to see if I can buy a Tesla car trading TSLA stocks! My then 7 year old son was very much interested in a Tesla! He was a big fan. Anyway, I started trading TSLA stock, most of the positions were options trading, and to be honest with my son about our deal, I created a blog and logged my trades! I think god also wanted a Tesla for my son or we were just too lucky, the trading went well. I think better then my general options trading. Who knows. I don't. However, you can look at my blog and go through the posts. Or, you will find a Google doc (spreadsheet) with all TSLA positions I had. Remember, this was all trading (and not investing) and most positions were options trading! Also, please remember, I am just trying to answer this question with some relevant real life data and by no means, I am telling you to start trading options! Trading options or stocks is very very risky business and is not for every one. There is no magic wand that can work profitably for every trader. Some have to lose to let some others to profit ,)#TSLA4Tesla project: Trade TSLA Stock For A Tesla car- stock trading with a purpose

What personality tests are good, free, and on the internet to fill out?
Many free personality assessments are fun, but not really useful.  It depends on what you are looking for. If the 'test' provides you with results but no way to use the information (no interpretation of your results, no debrief, no access to a trained consultant) then you have data with potentially no understanding, no context or no way to apply the results. Unless you can find the content and consultant on your own you have to consider what you will do with the results.  Finding a 'test' that is based on well known personality constructs and not one that makes up it's own personality factors is generally a better idea. Look for tests that offer you information on how they were created and what they were validated with (if the results are repeatable and how well they measure what they say they are measuring).I use an on-line assessment tool for Jungian Personality type assessment called Typefocus.com  - there is a free version and the option for a more detailed paid result. I have used this assessment for 8 years and find it's validity as good as any out there for measuring Jungian personality type (it uses the same jungian functions as the MBTI, against which it has been validated). The reason I use this assessment is that there is also a lot of data related to personality type available in general and many trained interpreters you can tap into once you obtain your results. I have assessed many, many on-line personality assessments over the years and there are a lot that you can have fun with and others you will find more useful.
What are the best examples of people who have "gamed the system"?
Make Unlimited Free International & Domestic CallsOk this is a very easy way to cheat the System and it can be applied now also. There is a Big loophole in the Telecom System. This  happened to me just 3 weeks back.I was having a Post Paid connection for the last 4 years and didn't want to continue with the Post Paid thing as I thought the company was offering much better rates in Pre Paid according to my current usage. So I went to the my telecom operators service center and requested them the same. They ask me to clear my current dues requested for an ID proof & photograph and completed all the formalities for the process. After signing up on the forms they issued me an entirely new sim and told me that my existing sim will be deactivated within 24-48 hours and my existing no.will automatically transfer to the new sim.I have no more liabilities for my old sim.Voila!!!Just then my mind strikes.I have no more liabilities.I made numerous calls to all my friends who were in different parts of India and also called couple of my friend who had gone to US on onsite projects. My Sim got  deactivated after 72 hours and within that time,I had at least made 8-10 hours of ISD calls and another 12 hours of STD calls all for free.Total bill amount for which will not be at least Rs.5-6K.Now my old sim is deactivated and I am happily using my new pre paid plan with  the same number but with zero liabilities.Happy free calls :)
I have a traditional IRA and I am 60. Is there any penalty if I want to withdraw money now? What about taxes?
If you're 59 ½ or older: You can usually make penalty-free withdrawals (known as "qualified distributions") from any IRA. But you'll still owe the income tax if it's a traditional IRA.Contact the trustee managing your IRA about making a withdrawal. The bank or brokerage might prpaper or online distribution forms to fill out. Otherwise, you can simply request a withdrawal by phone or email. Specify the amount and how you want to receive the distribution. Indicate on the form, by phone or email how much you want the trustee to withhold in taxes on a traditional IRA withdrawal. You can use a dollar amount or a percentage figure. You can also choose to have no income tax withheld. If you want to rollover your IRA please read this article.Michael MinterP: 813 964–7100
What are some free online certifications I can take to fill out my Upwork profile?
I have an Upwork account myself and the best advice I can give you is to take as many of the tests Upwork offers. You have the option of picking and choosing which test results are viewable on your profile, just in case you do not perform as well as you wanted on your first attempt. Ask your satisfied customers to post feedback on your profile. Additionally, you can upload examples of your work which go a long way in lieu of certifications. My experience has been that the majority of those hiring on Upwork are looking for quantity and the lowest price possible, formal education and certifications are secondary considerations. The other piece of advice I would offer, though unsolicited, is this: While Upwork is a convenient and fast way to pick up work, you are paying an exorbitant 20% to the site while being paid pennies on the dollar for the work you complete. I am not completing knocking Upwork, I was able to find a long-term editing position that pays quite fairly there BUT you are worth so much more than the majority of project owners/job posters are willing to offer. With a little time and effort, you will be surprised at the opportunites available to you online. Try googling any of the following, making certain to include the quotation marks, no commas are required: “graphic designer” “$”, “work for us” “graphic designer” “$”, “hiring graphic designer” “$” • you get the idea. Join some online forums dedicated to the field you are in, you will be surprised at the tips and tricks you will pick up from other users, such as here!
